General

Do you have more fabrics than on your website?

Yes! We stock over 300 fabrics and over 150 linings. We are still in the process of adding all of our products to our website. For now, there is a curated amount of our most popular best-sellers showcased online. Please contact us for a specific request of something not found online.

Are you a fabric store?

We are actually a wholesale company who is currently branching out into the online world of textile sales. We do not have a store that customers can walk into, but we do have a showroom that can be visited by appointment with a sales representative.

How do you measure the fabric?

Our fabric is measured in a continuous length. For example, if you order 5 yards of jersey you will receive five continuous yards, not 5 cuts of 1 yard. In the United States, the fabric will be measured in yards, in Canada, it will be in meters.

I sent a message using your online contact form, when can I expect a response?

The messages from our online store transmit to us instantly and we give priority to those messages. You should receive a response within the day. If the message was sent to us outside of our business hours then we will respond the following business day.

The style I want to buy is unavailable, what should I do?

If the style is in our “coming soon” section then that just means that it has not arrived in our warehouse yet. If it is part of our regular stock then there is always the possibility that this item will be restocked. Please contact us to see if this item or color will be coming back.

Do you have gift cards?

Unfortunately, we do not offer gift cards at this time. It is a possibility we are looking into for the future.

Orders

How can I be sure I order the right color?

We meticulously check all of our pictures to make sure they match our actual inventory; however, we have no control over the variation in device screen colors. This is why we always recommend that you order a swatch or shade card of the fabric you are considering buying. This way, you can be sure that you receive the exact color you want. Because we also want to make sure you are completely satisfied, if you decide to order the fabric you swatched, you will be credited the price of the sample as long you order a minimum of $50 worth of material within 3 months.

Do you give out free samples?

No, we unfortunately do not give out free samples, but our samples are very competitively priced.

Which size samples I will receive?

All our shade cards and samples are on 8x10” cards and fit into an envelope. If the style you want comes in a variety of colors, you will receive all of them on the card along with a swatch big enough to feel to fabric.

Do I need to create an account to make a purchase?

No, you can check out as a guest by entering all of your information on the payment page.

How can I order your fabric?

You can order directly online by selecting the style and quantity that you require and then clicking on “Add to Cart”, entering your information and processing the payment. How can I change my account information?

Login to your account using the person icon at the top right of the website, then click on “view addresses”, then click “Edit”, “Delete” or “Add a new address”. If you would like to modify other information, please contact us and we will make the changes.

How fast will I receive my order?

We process orders in 2-5 business days. Depending where you are located, the shipping times will vary. Once the order is prepared, you can expect to receive your order between 3-9 business days in Canada and 4-8 business days in the United States. This can depend on if you are in a remote location. For in-depth information please consult our shipping policy.

How can I see my order?

You will receive an email confirmation once you have successfully placed your order. You can click on the link provided in that email to view your order. Also, you can login to your account online and view your account from there.

Is there a minimum per order?

The minimum per order is 1 yard (USD) or 1 meter (CAD). If you are ordering just samples then the minimum is 1 sample card.

Are your prices retail or wholesale?

The prices listed on our website are retail prices, if you would like to buy a large quantity then please contact us and we will quote you a wholesale price.

Do you have discounts on bulk orders?

Yes, if you would like to order more than 25 meters/yards please contact us and we will quote you a price.

Will my order be shipped on a roll?

If the quantity ordered is small then we will fold the fabric and ship it to you in a package. If the fabric is bulky or if the quantity ordered is too large to be folded into a package then we will roll it on a tube.

I’d like to have my fabric double folded, is that possible?

If you would like your fabric to be double folded on a tube or on a board, you would need to order a minimum of 10 meters/yards. Please specify the type of folding you require in the “Order special instructions” box on the “Your cart” page when placing your order.

What type of package will my order be shipped in?

All orders will be wrapped in a heavy clear plastic and secured to protect them from damage during the shipping.

Is it possible to change or cancel my order once I place it online?

If you would like to change or cancel your order, please contact us at ecom@zinmantex.com.

In which currency will my order be processed?

Your order will be processed in the currency of the country selected at checkout: Canada – CAD, United States – USD.

What happens if I placed my order in meters but I wanted yards?

If you order from Canada, your order will be processed in meters, if from the United States it will be in yards. If you are not sure if the amount ordered will be enough for your project, consider adding an extra meter or yard in case.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, as well as PayPal, Shop pay, Apple pay and Google pay.

Can I pay cash?

If you would like to pay cash then you would have to come and pick up your order in person at our Montreal office.

What kind of taxes can I expect to pay?

There are no taxes if shipping to the United States. If shipping in Canada, the taxes will be billed according to the individual provinces tax laws.

Promotions

What are your current promotions?

Right now, we are having a blind box event. If you look under our sale section, you can click on the Blind Box product and you will see all the information about it on product page as well as the products that could be included in this mystery box. Additionally, the shipping for either the small or large box is 100% free!

When you subscribe to our newsletter you will also receive a code for 15% off your first order. Our promotions change about once a month so check back often so you do not miss anything.

Can I use more than one promotion code?

Only one promotion code can be used at a time.

Do I have to enter promo codes manually or are they applied automatically?

You will have to type in the code manually into the “discount code” box on the checkout screen.

Where are you located?

Our office is located in Quebec, Canada. The address is 459 Deslauriers, Saint-Laurent, Quebec, H4N 1W2.

Do you have multiple locations?

We only have one location in Montreal. We do have sales representatives in Toronto and in Florida. Our Montreal sales representatives are often on the road, visiting customers in various out of town locations. They also travel to shows in the United States. We could be in your area very soon! Where do you ship?

We ship to Canada and the United states. If you would like to ship to an international address, please contact us for a shipping estimate. Extra duties could apply that we are not responsible for.

Do you have free shipping?

Yes! If you order over $150 then your shipping will be entirely free. This applies to Canada and the United States.

What are the shipping fees for orders under $150?

Exact shipping is calculated at checkout depending on your location. Typically the fees range from $20-$35(CAD), $15-$25(USD) excluding remote locations and oversize packages.

I need my order right away, can I have faster shipping?

If you would like to have faster shipping we can offer expedited or overnight delivery to most locations. Extra charges will apply for these services. Please contact us and we will quote you the shipping charges and delivery estimates available for your location.

Will I receive a tracking number?

Yes! Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number and courier information. If you have ordered shade cards only then they will be shipped regular mail and there will be no tracking available.

Why did I not I receive a tracking number?

There could be a few reasons you have not received a tracking number:

    1. We have not shipped your order yet.
    2. You only ordered shade cards, which are sent by regular mail.
    3. The tracking was not added to your order.
If it has only been a few days since you placed your order, please allow some time for processing. If it has been longer and you still have not received anything, please contact us and we will be happy to look into it.

Which shipping companies do you use?

We always try to provide the best rates to our customers. As a result, we ship using different couriers depending on which one quotes us the best rate. That means your order could be shipped with DHL, FedEx, GLS, etc.

Returns

What is your return policy?

You must contact us within seven days of receiving your merchandise. We accept returns as long as the fabric has not been cut. The fabric must be in the same condition as when it was shipped. We will not refund any shipping costs. You are responsible for the return shipping charges. Please view our full refund policy here.

I received the wrong item, what should I do?

Please contact us as soon as you receive the item so that we can address the problem in a timely manner.

The fabric I received is defective. Can I exchange it?

We take great pride in the quality of our fabrics. If there is a defect in any merchandise that you have received then please contact us and we will do our best to offer a replacement. It will have to be processed as a return and a separate order for new goods.
